Henri Cartier-Bresson

He did a lot of outside candid photos. His photos where described as mysterious, humour. he was born in 1980 and died in 2004. He was drafted in to the film and photo unit of the French army in the 1940's. He was taken as a prison by the Germany that same year.


After three year of being in prison he escaped and when to work for the French underground. in 1943 he made serious of portraits of artists. Through 1944 and 1945 Henri Cartier Bresson photographed the series of events of France and its liberations.


On June 23 he was taken by the germans. He took two failed attempts and the third was a success to break out of jail. he was the first to have his work presented in the Carlton museum in New York. he died on august second in 2004.
